After almost 20 years of working on an IBM compatible and the Windows operating system, I've switched to a Mac. A MacBook Pro, specifically.
I was nervous about doing it. I was given a gentle push by my boss, who made the switch some time ago. The primary reason was for presentation-giving purposes. Keynote is sooo much better than PowerPoint. And I give a lot of presentations. So that was the impetus.
After using the Mac for only two days now, I'm hooked. It's just more...more elegant. A bit more intuitive. Faster boot-up. And less...clunky.
To be fair, I am using a bunch of Windows software on the Mac: The entire office suite (except Entourage instead of Outlook).
And I'll have my first real pressure-filled test next Tuesday when I give a presentation on social media to Running USA. My Keynote presentation that Jeremy art directed is awesome. And thanks, too, Jeremy, for the Keynote Tutorial.
So now I have an iPhone, an iPod and a MacBook Pro. I guess I'm officially changed.

Welcome to the cult! I've been a huge Mac fan since I got my first SE/30 in the early '90s.
I'll warn you that some of the Microsoft Office software can be annoyingly buggy on the Mac. Still, I enjoy working on a Mac so much that I can live with that.
